Apart from being one of the largest databases of scientific articles in the world, we allow new and intuitive ways for students and academics to store, and share these articles amongst peers.

Scible has created ‘Readlists’ which allow the users to publish public libraries on the Scible database for others to follow. This allows users to find whole libraries of relevant research pre-created by others that they can then use to write their essays, dissertations and papers.

Scible is entirely independent (and proudly so). 

Many of our competitors have been aquired by larger publishers. As these publishers are the ones that place the paywalls on research to begin with, this conflict of interest hinders their ability to bring true open access to the community. We think this is unacceptable. 

We believe being independent is the only way we can truly deliver solutions to scientists that are innovative and help the industry as a whole.
